It happened, guys. My alter-ego twin took over. She took possession slowly. Several months ago, we had an executive pandemic meeting, and she sent me to take a long term-vacation because she is now the boss in charge.
Must say, I was okay.
First, she got rid of the old website WithLoveWen.com. Then created the new WendyCecilia.com. And now, “She is” the face on my new website.
I’m a private-self, conspiracy-minded, and don’t-trust-anyone mentality. Meanwhile, my evil “twin” combs her hair every day, paints her nails, uses makeup, cleavage, high heels, split-skirts, and is spreading her love for website’s design, lifestyle, and citiesβUf, such a relief that she is only spreading her love.
I mean, what type of website is WendyCecilia.com? Do I need to pay close attention before my goody-goodies reputation gets ruined? What else is “She” sharing on my website? Stay tuned to find out. Ha!
This Time You’re Starting From Experience
When I closed WithLoveWen.com back in June, my website was associated with two big affiliate companies. And I had my doubts if closing traffic and stopping the work for the past four years was the right move. Fear always shows up in those moments of change and asks the question: What if you fail?
“Don’t be afraid to start over. This time you’re not starting from scratch, you’re starting from experience.”
I have had so many beginnings and rejections during the last ten years pursuing a dream that by now, I’m like, “Bah! Piece of cake. Let’s start over!” No time for regrets.
And I was right.
WendyCecilia.com already added several new marketing affiliations, approved sponsorships, and pending partnerships. Whatever passion you have, never, never, never be afraid to start over. The second time you’ll be starting from experience.
Lots of work is coming my way since I currently work three jobs. That is my full-time. I’m also an independent designer. And my dream job, the one that I’m slowly building for myself. It’s true what they say. When you start working on something you are passionate about or love doing, you don’t work a day in your life.
Oh! High-five to turmeric, sea moss, and ashwagandha for keeping me energized like the battery bunny from the TV commercial. Ha!
